Our French language courses in Nice for students take place at our school residences, where a large number of our students stay. The language courses are suited for children from 12 years, teenagers from 14 to 16 years and A Level students from 17 years. The students come from all over the world to learn French to a high standard whilst enjoying a wonderful holiday by the sea at the same time in Southern France.
 

Your language class takes place on different, well-equipped French campuses depending on your choice of accommodation:

Eucalyptus

The campus « Les Eucalyptus » is located in a very quiet district, within 13 minutes walking distance from the beach and with free shuttles to reach the city center. The campus is newly renovated, cozy, modern and there is always a pleasant atmosphere. If you live in the residence Eucalyptus, your language course will take place here as well.
 

Paul Augier

The campus is also located in a quiet district and only 15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by shuttle bus from Residence Eucalyptus. In just 20 minutes, you can either reach the beach on foot or the city centre by free shuttle bus. The campus is modern and large. Breakfast is taken in the residence, lunch and dinner in the canteen of Residence Eucalyptus.

Language school

If you take a French language course outside the summer months (12.03. to 24.06. and 20.08. to 30.10.), you will stay with a host family and classes will take place in the main building of the language school in the centre of Nice and only about 15 minutes' walk from the beach.

French and Diving »

You have the opportunity to receive professional diving classes on five afternoons during the week after the main course. The diving course consists of a total of 15 classes per week, each 50 minutes long. You go on one to two dives in the sea per day, with a total of ca. 8 hours per week. The rest of the time serves as theory and preparation for the dives on the boat. The diving equipment is provided. The diving club is situated in the port of Nice. There is a shuttle service from Campus Parc Imperial or Estienne d'Orves schools to the diving school for you to use free of charge.

The diving course is also for students without diving experience. A medical examination, which accesses whether you are suitable to dive, is required from your doctor, and a requirement for the course.

French and Tennis »

After the main course in the morning, you have the opportunity to receive professional tennis lessons during the summer months. The tennis course consists of a total of 15 hours of lessons and training per week and takes place over 5 afternoons. It is taught by professional tennis instructors who are accredited according to the guidelines of the French Tennis Federation (FTT). Tennis rackets can be hired on site for a small fee, or you can bring your own racket to class. A free shuttle service is available from the Parc Imperial or Eucalyptus campuses to take you to the tennis school.

Participants without tennis experience can also book this option after the main course. A medical certificate is required for participation, which you can obtain from your family doctor in advance.

Alternatively, you can book the "Tennis Academy by Jo-Wilfried Tsonga". The course comprises a total of 15 hours of lessons and training per week and takes place on 5 afternoons. It is also conducted by professional tennis instructors who are recognised according to the guidelines of the French Tennis Federation (FTT).

French and Sailing »

In connection with the main course in the morning, you can learn how to professionally navigate a sailing boat with Hobbie Cat, Laser or Echo 90 during our sailing courses. The saling classes take place on five afternoons each week at our watersports school at Nice's port, and has a total of 15 classes, each 50 minutes per week. From Campus Parc Imperial or Estienne d'Orves schools there is a shuttle service to the watersports school for you to use free of charge. The equipment is already provided. The sailing course is also suited for students without sailing experience.

Cooking course »

Following the main course in the morning, during the summer months you can learn how to create a typical French menu and learn French at the same time during our cooking course. In small groups, you will prepare dishes according to traditional "real French" recipes using simple and natural ingredients. The cooking course takes place 3 afternoons a week from 3.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. at our language schools "Parc Imperial" and "Les Eucalyptus". The equipment (apron, gloves, hat and overshoes) will be provided.
