Barbados is the easternmost Caribbean island with a small size. Its south and west coasts have white sandy beaches and its northern and eastern parts attract surfers with their huge waves. Our school is located on the south coast in the district of Christ Church. The capital city of Bridgetown is only 20 minutes by bus. Small colourful houses standing next to magnificent colonial buildings and green palms will catch your eyes in Bridgetown. You can taste Caribbean specialities on the terraces of restaurants or cafés and enjoy sunny days. Mangos, coconuts, melons or breadfruits grow here in large numbers. Shopping paradise is awaiting you in numerous small shops and designer boutiques of Bridgetown thanks to Barbados’ tax policy. In the evening customers are served with fish specialties such as ‘Red Snapper’ or exotic flying fish in restaurants. Their glasses are filled with the best rum of the island and they dance to reggae or calypso rhythms.
