3 REASONS TO CHOOSE CARDIFF:
- Top location: Learn English on the amazing coast of Wales
- Quality: International groups, comfortable and well-equipped school
- Everything close by: School only 5 minutes from the historic city centre
The Welsh capital of Cardiff connects two worlds, the present day and the mystical Celtic past. The beautiful university city lies on the broad estuary of the River Severn at the Bristol Channel. Our LISA! language school is located only 5 minutes from the historic city centre and 10 minutes from the historic 'Cardiff Castle'. The river Taff meanders through the city, steep cliffs tower into the sky along the coast and the reedy marshland is home to a variety of water birds. The city has numerous restaurants, traditional pubs and lively cafes, which can be explored by wandering through the city. It is just a quarter of an hour by train to the restaurants and cafe terraces on the 'Mermaid Quay' from our school. The shiny dome of the ‘Millennium Centre’ creates a harmonious contrast to the red 'Pierhead Building', the landmark of the city. The Victorian shopping arcades offer an unforgettable shopping experience. The fairy-tale Castell Coch is one of the most important remains of Welsh history. You can explore the bay by boat and enjoy a view of the city from the sea.
