The university town of Exeter lies in the beautiful county of Devon by the River Exe, only 2 hours from London. This area was once part of the Roman Empire. Traces of its ancient beauty can be found on every corner, especially on its many historic buildings. Language courses in Exeter means travelling back to the ancient times of Great Britain. Our school is located in the city centre, surrounded by shops and cafés, such as the modern 'Princesshay Passage' or the 'Guildhall centre'. The medieval 'Gandy Street' and its shops and boutiques are not far from the school, as well as the 'Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery', the historic fortress 'Exeter Castle' and the impressive cathedral of St. Peter. In the afternoon you can meet friends along the banks of the River Exe and have a cup of tea in one of the traditional outdoor cafés on the piers.
