The majority of our course participants travel alone to Malta and get to know their friendly fellow English-learners from all over the world on the first day. Our language school in St. Julian’s offers a professional learning environment for students and young professionals between the ages of 25-35, as well as well-established professionals aged 35 and up. Over-60s will feel equally as welcome on this programme. -
The language course and other classes:

FAQ
When do I have to book by?
We can usually make bookings at short notice, depending on flight availability. We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance.
How much does a language course in St. Julian's cost?
A 2-week summer language course, including 20 classes per week and a single room with a host family (half-board) costs £1,105.
Do I need a visa to travel to Malta?
British citizens do not currently require a visa to travel to Malta. If the UK leaves the EU with a deal, travel to the EU will remain the same until at least 31 December 2020. You will not need to apply for a visa during this time.
If the UK leaves the EU without a deal, the rules for travelling and working in Europe will change. More information can be found here

Will there be a language proficiency test at the beginning of the course?
Yes. On the first day of classes you will take a language test to determine your level of English. You will then be assigned to the appropriate class based on that test, ranging from A1 to C2
Can I be assigned to the same class as the person I'm travelling to Malta with?
That is certainly possible, as long as their level of English does not differ drastically from yours.
Can I choose to book the language course without accommodation?
That's perfectly fine! We'll happily advise you on the price of the language course alone.
When do I have to pay by?
Upon finalising the contract (once we have received travel confirmation and all relevant documents), a down payment of 20% of the cost of the trip and of at least £200, plus any insurance premiums, is payable. The remaining balance is to be paid 28 days before departure.
