The lovely seaside city of Bournemouth lies on the southern coast of England and is very popular for its long beaches and lively atmosphere. Our school is located right in the city centre, surrounded by a garden and many cafés and shops. The sea is only 10 minutes away and accommodation can easily be reached. After the lessons you will spend lots of time at the beach. Together we will swim, play football, volleyball or mini - golf. During a visit to the Oceanarium, you will learn many things about the underwater world and you will have the chance to see penguins, sharks and rays. In the evening, we sing together at the karaoke, we go to the cinema or bowling. Together with our dancing group, you will learn new steps and at the weekend you will get to know your new friends even more during one of our parties. At an additional charge it is possible to book an extra trip during the weekend directly at the school. The school organises half day trip to Poole, the mysterious Stonehenge and to the National Park of “New Forest”, where wild horses wander.

Our LISA! language courses for teenagers are perfectly organised and supervised. In our school in Bournemouth - Park, your child will learn or improve his or her language skills in a friendly and cosy atmosphere. Your son or daughter will be supervised by the host families, the school team as well as our team leaders, who are always available for help and advice. For more information about the starting dates, please check the calendar on our website. During his or her stay, your child will be accommodated with a friendly host family or in a residence. In our school in Bournemouth - Park  we also offer language courses for adults. You can find more information about our courses in the menu ‘adults’. Our language courses for children and teenagers involve a fully organised and supervised free-time programme. In our school in Bournemouth Park, students from the age of 16 can also take part in a language course for adults without an organised and supervised free-time programme. Because of this option, the student can organise his or her free time individually and therefore, the course price is lower.

Your LISA! language course for teenagers »

On arrival, your child will be welcomed by our group leaders or by his or her host family. On the first day, a language test takes place. Groups are formed on the basis of language levels therefore, teenagers are usually with others of a similar age. This guarantees excellent and successful learning. With a LISA! language course you will open your child to a whole new world and give them the chance to broaden their horizon. We also prepare your child for his or her final exams or to help improve school marks. After classes, our great group leaders and the school team will provide your child with a wide range of free-time activities. On the weekends the school organises day or half-day trips. Your child has the opportunity to spend the remaining time with his or her host family. Please be aware that there are times when your children may be unsupervised. However, our school team is always at your disposal.

Arrival »

Flights are not included in the prices of our language courses for teenagers. We recommend flying to London. Although we do not provide an accompanying service for the flight itself, our friendly school team will greet all students upon arrival at the destination airport and accompany them to their accommodation. The arrival has to be on a Sunday, between 10:00 and 18:00, the departure has to be on a Sunday between 11:00 and 19:00. Please note that this is a group transfer, so there may be waiting times. A transfer service to/from London Gatwick/Stansted or Bournemouth airport can be booked for a surcharge. Arrivals and departures are on Sundays. Should your child travel with the UM service, extra transfer cost may apply.
