Our language school in Nice is located close to Boulevard Victor Hugo and therefore right in the centre of the city. Our language courses are suitable for beginners and advanced learners. Participants come from all over the world.

Location & facilities:

Our language school is located directly on Boulevard Victor Hugo, right in the centre of Nice, just a 10-minute walk from the beach and the historic old town. Our school is housed in a beautiful building and has air-conditioned classrooms and a lounge with kitchen. There is plenty of space to meet with students from all over the world or to relax.
 

There are numerous shops, typical French cafés and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The main street Jean Médecin is only a 5-minute walk away. The team of teachers is perfectly trained and specialises in teaching French as a foreign language. With an average course size of 6 participants per group, rapid learning success is possible. The language courses take place in the mornings and, if there are more lessons, also in the afternoons.
 

Organised leisure programme:

Our friendly school team organises an orientation walk through Nice after the French language course. Excursions to Monaco, Cannes or St. Tropez are also organised. Dinners in restaurants or an evening in a bar are also popular in Nice.
 

LISA! Language courses:

• Our language courses in Nice - Victor Hugo start every Monday. If the course starts on a public holiday, the course starts on Tuesday (see calendar). Beginners' courses start once a month.

• During your language study trip, you will live with a host family, in a residence or in a studio (see Accommodation).

• Our language holidays in Nice - Victor Hugo are suitable for levels from beginner (A1) to near-native speaker (C2).

French & More:

At our language school in Nice - Victor Hugo, you have the option of combining your French course with afternoon and evening activities. After the main course, students on this course take part in cultural activities on two afternoons per week. The first is a boat trip along the coast of Nice and the second is a trip to a perfumery.

French & Cooking:

In this programme, participants take part in two culinary activities per week after the main course. One includes a cookery course and the other a trip to a local restaurant.

The organisation of your language course:

On the day you arrive at your LISA! language course, you will arrive at your accommodation. On the first day of the course, you will be divided into levels according to your level of knowledge. This is how we guarantee optimum learning success. Lessons alternate between mornings and afternoons, depending on your level. After the course, you will have enough time to explore the city. The school organises activities several times a week. The school team is happy to give tips on where to go out and shop, where to get the best coffee and which festival is currently taking place. Everyone can also explore the holiday destination on their own. There will always be like-minded people with whom you can go on a voyage of discovery. Exchanges with the locals are also an excellent way of consolidating and practising what you have learnt in addition to language lessons. The advantage of staying with a host family is that you can practise what you have learnt straight away. There are plenty of opportunities to speak French when shopping and going out.

Language diplomas:

We offer the following exam preparation courses at our language school in Nice - Victor Hugo: Preparation for the language certificate Diplôme d' Etudes en Langue Française (D.E.L.F./D.A.L.F.)

Please note:

• Language level A1 is required for the D.E.L.F. exam course.

• Language level B1 is required for the D.A.L.F. exam course.

• The exams usually take place in the last week of the course. Therefore, only limited lessons are usually possible here.

• The examination fee must always be paid on site. Please refer to the information in the table for the examination fee.

• Registration for the exam takes place approx. 5 weeks in advance.
