1. Top course location:
   The ancient and venerable town of Loches is a unique medieval and royal town in the valley of the Loire castles. The small steep streets of the town invite you to stroll around and offer a beautiful view of the castle in Loches, the roofs, towers and the surrounding countryside. Loches is located a few kilometres south of Tours, and Paris can be reached in 2 hours. There are many other castles to discover in the surrounding area, such as Chenonceau, Amboise, Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau. The varied landscape around Loches offers many different leisure activities.

2. The supervision: 
   All our school language holidays are supervised language holidays. Supervision is provided by the school and teachers. There are intervals, e.g. on the way to school, when your children are on their own and there is no supervision. We will advise you in detail. 

3. The language school:
   Our French language courses take place at the Saint-Denis International School. The school campus is located in the centre of Loches and has modern classrooms, a cafeteria and a sports hall. Free high-speed WLAN is available on the school grounds.

4. The lessons:
   Our language holidays in Saint-Denis are suitable for students aged 12 to 17. The teaching groups are formed according to age. Lessons take place in the mornings from Monday to Friday, with excursions and leisure activities organised in the afternoons, evenings and at weekends. If you are staying with a host family, you will spend time with the family from 6 pm onwards.

5. The accommodation:
   Your son or daughter will either stay with the host family or in the residence. Our students receive full board, i.e. breakfast and a warm evening meal, lunch in the cafeteria and packed lunches for excursions.

6. The leisure programme: 
   The large LISA! leisure programme is included in the price, it is part of the teaching concept and contributes significantly to learning success. The beautiful surroundings of Loches offer a wide range of leisure activities. We go golfing, visit some famous castles, go canoeing and cool off in the Loches swimming pool in hot weather. We learn to cook and draw in French and visit a chocolate factory. Each week, the students go on two day trips, for example to Paris, Disneyland or the Futuroscope theme park in Poitiers.

How much space does my child have?
All routes are short and clear. Your child will be busy all day with lessons and leisure activities.  For children who would like to spend their language holiday by the sea, we recommend our French language courses in Nice.

How much does a language study holiday in Saint-Denis cost?
A 2-week language holiday with 20 French lessons per week and accommodation in a host family in a single room with full board costs €1929, in the residence €1689. The extensive leisure programme, language course and accommodation are included in the price of the trip.

Is there a placement test at the beginning of the language course?
Yes, a placement test takes place on the first day of school. Students are then placed in the appropriate level.

How will my child get to Loches?
With our LISA! language holidays for students on the Loire, we ask you to bring your child to Loches yourself. Transfers from Tours airport or St-Pierre des Corpes train station can also be booked. However, there are only direct flights from London Stansted or Marseille to Tours. There is a direct train from Paris Montparnasse to the railway station in St-Pierre.

By when do I have to pay?
A deposit of 20% of the tour price, but at least EUR 200, plus any insurance premiums, is due on conclusion of the contract (after the travel confirmation and the insurance certificate have been issued). The balance of the tour price must be paid 28 days before the start of the tour. Parents will find all details on the invoice.
