LISA! Russian courses in Kaliningrad
The Russian town of Kaliningrad was once a part of East Prussia and at that time it was known as Königsberg. It was the birthplace of Immanuel Kant and Käthe Kollwitz 150 years ago and some of your grandparents still remember Königsberger Klopse, meatballs with capers, a traditional dish of the East Prussian cuisine.

3 REASONS TO CHOOSE KALININGRAD:
-
Good price: Learn Russian in the city of Immanuel Kant at a convenient price
-
Quality: Small groups, intensive lessons, one-to-one lessons
-
Nature and Culture: A historic city on the Baltic coast
Kaliningrad lies between Poland and Lithuania on the banks of the River Pregel and is surrounded by green fields and forests. Formerly known as Königsberg, it is the hometown of famous philosopher Immanuel Kant, to whom the whole museum is dedicated. The features of a typical modern Russian town mingle with the East Prussian past in its architecture. Our school is situated in a green, quiet town district, close to the centre. Here you'll find wide streets with small bars and restaurants, many museums, theatres and famous monuments. One of the most beautiful examples of Gothic brick architecture from the 14th century is the Königsberg Cathedral, which is the symbol of the town. The image of the town is also created by Kaliningrad Hotel and the House of Soviets, which today catches the eye of passers-by with its modern architecture. Numerous beautiful parks and the huge zoo are an ideal place for walking. In the evening the inhabitants of this university town meet in bars and restaurants to savour typical dishes and start a night out, with a shot of the locally produced vodka, 'Stary Kenigsberg'.
